In brief, ROMUN officers and members are trained in some of the basic skills in leadership, be it political, business, or social. The most important aspect of the ROMUN team is that it is almost entirely student led. Here are a few aspects of the training: Qualities of Leadership: § Character: honesty, academics § Commitment: quality, follow-through, vision, initiative, research § Communication: with advisors, officers, members Stephen Covey's Qualities of Personal Greatness: § Vision -- What we want, our plan, our ambition § Discipline -- Control, determination, work ethic, drive § Passion -- Desire, what we believe, what we feel § Conscience -- Morale, ethics, sense of justice |
