Research Strategy & Tactics

Between two arguments, one with evidence and one without, evidence should win every time.  Between two arguments, one with many sources and one with fewer, the more heavily sourced should win.  Between two arguments, one with quality evidence and one with Wikipedia, the primary source material should win.  How much research should you do?  More than your opponent.
