Doing

At least once per semester, each student will be required to genuinely advocate for a position on an issue we discuss in class.  This might be staging a public awareness event, writing or meeting legislators, speaking at a forum, or producing information for the public to read and act upon (flyers, blogs, radio or TV show, websites, etc.).

The issue, the position, and the advocacy projects are all up to each student to design and evaluate effectiveness.
